ARICE Scholarship Program 2026 for International Students
Applications are now open for the ARICE Scholarship Program 2026 in Romania. International students from all countries are encouraged to apply for this fully funded scholarship opportunity. The program is available for students who wish to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degrees abroad and continue their academic journey in Romania.
The scholarship is offered for the 2026–2027 academic session and provides an excellent opportunity for talented students to study at Romanian higher education institutions with financial support. The Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade Scholarship Program aims to support international education and strengthen academic cooperation with students from around the world.
Each year, the Ministry of Education of Romania and the Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade award 40 scholarships to international students who wish to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral studies at accredited public universities in Romania. The program is open to applicants from most countries around the world, with the exception of citizens of EU and EFTA member states. There is no application fee, making the scholarship accessible to a wide range of students.
A key benefit of the ARICE Scholarship Program is the inclusion of a free one-year Romanian language preparatory course. This initiative reflects Romania’s commitment to promoting its language, culture, and international academic cooperation. The language course helps students develop the skills needed for academic success while also enabling them to engage more deeply with Romanian society and cultural traditions.
Through the collaboration between the Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Education of Romania, selected scholars receive valuable educational opportunities and cultural exposure, allowing them to experience Romania’s rich heritage while pursuing higher education in a supportive academic environment.
