HAW International Scholarship 2026 for International Students
Applications are open for the HAW International Scholarship 2026 in Germany. These scholarships are available to all international students. Candidates interested in pursuing their doctoral studies abroad are encouraged to apply. The program aims to provide doctoral researchers with valuable, practice-oriented international experiences and promote global collaboration. Additionally, students can also consider applying for the University of Toronto Scholarships 2026 in Canada (Funded).
Through research stays abroad, the program allows doctoral students at German universities of applied sciences to build valuable academic and professional connections. These stays can take place in one or more countries and may last from one to six months. Funding is provided with flexibility, enabling candidates to spread their research visits throughout their doctoral studies. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is currently inviting applications for the HAW International Research Scholarships for Doctoral Students enrolled at German universities of applied sciences (HAWs/Fachhochschulen).
Established in 1925, the DAAD is a joint initiative of German institutions and student organizations aimed at promoting international cooperation. It is recognized as the world’s largest funding organization for academic and student exchange. Since its founding, the DAAD has supported nearly 3 million scholars in Germany and abroad (as of 2024). In addition, it serves as the national body responsible for managing and implementing the Erasmus+ program of the European Union in the field of higher education.
