Financial Benefits
Pakistan Scotland Scholarship Scheme will facilitate award-holders with the following:
- Tuition fees for courses in eligible fields
- University hostel costs (where applicable)
- Travel to and from home to university two times a year for students staying in on-campus hostels.
List of Subject Areas for Bachelors Students
The Scotland Scholarship in Pakistan will cover a four-year bachelor’s degree/two year master’s degree at an HEC-Recognized Pakistani university in one of the following subject areas only:
- Education
- Sustainable Energy
- Food Security and Agriculture
- Health Sciences
Subject Areas for Masters/MPhil Students
The Scotland scholarship for Pakistani Students will cover a Master’s degree at any HEC-recognized university of Pakistan in one of the following subject areas:
- Education
- Sustainable Energy
- Food Security and Agriculture
- Health Sciences
- STEM Education
Eligibility Criteria
The following criteria must be met to be considered eligible for the Scotland Government Scholarship for Pakistani Students:
- Only female applicants can apply.
- Be Pakistani nationals currently residing in Pakistan.
- Be pursuing a four-year bachelor’s degree or two-year master’s degree in the above-listed subject areas
- Hold a confirmed admission offer from an HEC recognized university in Pakistan
- Young women with disabilities, from rural areas and/or minority groups are encouraged to apply.
Documents Required for Scotland Scholarship
A complete application includes the following Documents given below to apply for Scotland Government Scholarship:
- A duly filled out application form
- Scanned copy of CNIC
- Scanned copy of transcripts
- Salary slips of Parent/Guardian (You may also choose to submit a pension slip or any proof of parent’s/guardian’s employment status)
- Copy of certificate or result sheet of most recently completed educational degree
- Proof of admission and/or enrollment at the master’s/bachelor’s level
- Copy of tuition fee schedule for the programme you are pursuing. (If you need to utilize hostel facilities, please be sure to present a fee schedule for the hostel costs as well).
