Applications are now open for the IACC Young Journalists Program 2026 in the Dominican Republic. Young journalists from around the world are encouraged to apply for this fully funded opportunity to attend the International Anti Corruption Conference (IACC) 2026 in Punta Cana, taking place from December 1–4, 2026. The program will select 10 outstanding participants, offering them a valuable platform to gain international exposure, strengthen their professional skills, and connect with leading journalists, policymakers, and experts from across the globe.
The IACC Young Journalists Program 2026 is organized by Transparency International as part of the International Anti Corruption Conference (IACC). The program offers aspiring journalists a fully funded opportunity to report from one of the world’s leading anti corruption events while gaining valuable international experience. Selected participants will strengthen their reporting skills, expand their global professional network, and deepen their understanding of transparency, public accountability, and anti-corruption efforts through direct engagement with experts and global leaders.
Established in 1983, the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) is a globally recognized platform that brings together government officials, civil society organizations, businesses, academics, and media professionals to address corruption related challenges. Held every two years in different countries, the conference promotes international collaboration, knowledge sharing, and policy dialogue. Participants have the opportunity to exchange ideas, build meaningful connections, and contribute to discussions that support transparency, good governance, and sustainable development worldwide.

Objectives
Successful participants will:
- Attend workshops and conferences.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following prerequisites:
- Applicants from all nationalities are welcome.
- Applicants must be employed as a journalist at the moment.
- Applicants must possess prior experience covering social, political, economic, or public interest topics.
- Eligible media outlets include print, digital, radio, television, and multimedia journalists.
- Applicants must be younger than 35 on December 6, 2026.
- Applicants must possess a strong knowledge of the English language.
- Applicants must show a desire for accountability, openness, and reporting on corruption.
