ITRI Summer Internship 2026 for International Students
Applications are now open for the ITRI Summer Internship 2026 in Taiwan. International applicants from around the world are encouraged to apply for this fully funded summer internship program. Each year, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) selects around 35 interns. The program is open to students enrolled at universities outside of Taiwan, including those pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees.

It has also been instrumental in the creation and development of major companies such as TSMC, UMC, Taiwan Mask Corp., Epistar Corp., Mirle Automation Corp., and Taiwan Biomaterial Co.
The ITRI Taiwan Summer Internship 2026 offers a fully funded opportunity for international students from around the world to gain hands-on experience in Taiwan. The internship duration ranges from two to three months, with no application fee and no IELTS requirement. It is expected to run between May and September 2026. The program aims to help participants expand their global network, work on innovative projects, and gain practical industry experience.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the ITRI Summer Internship 2026 in Taiwan (Fully Funded):
- All nationals are eligible to apply for the internship in Taiwan.
- During and after the whole internship, accepted interns are required to present documentation from their university attesting to their enrollment status.
- A valid passport from a nation other than Taiwan (ROC) is required of candidates.
