Applications are invited to apply for the Sumitomo Electric Global Internship 2026 in Japan. All International Applicants are eligible to apply. Students with a BS, BA, or Master’s degree are eligible to apply for the Fully Funded Global Internship in Japan. IELTS is also not necessary.
Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. is a global manufacturer of electric wires and optical fiber cables, with its headquarters located in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. The Global Internship Program will take place in Yokohama and Osaka, Japan, with no application fee required. The internship duration ranges from ten to twelve weeks and is designed to provide participants with hands-on professional experience at Sumitomo Electric’s corporate headquarters or research and development facilities.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Internship is open to candidates from all over the world.
- Students pursuing a BS or MS degree who are now enrolled in an authorized university are eligible.
- Students must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Applicants must have outstanding English communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
