Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the CUFE CSC Graduate Scholarships 2026 in China, students must:
- Candidates must be non-Chinese nationals.
- Applicants must be in good physical and mental health and be prepared to face the demands of a demanding academic path.
- You must be under 35 at the time of application and possess a bachelor’s degree in order to apply to master’s programs.
- Additionally, applicants for PhD programs must be under 40 years old and hold a Master’s degree.
- All applicants must adhere to the academic and regulatory requirements specified in China’s Ministry of Education’s Document No. 12 (2020), which is a prerequisite for all international students.
- Proficiency in language is essential:
- An HSK Level 5 score of 210 or above is necessary for programs taught in Chinese.
- You must present a current IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, or comparable English proficiency certificate for programs taught in English.
- You’ll be one step closer to becoming a member of CUFE’s elite community of finance and economics researchers in the center of Beijing if you complete these requirements.
Application Deadline

How to Apply for the CUFE CSC Graduate Scholarships?
- Step 1: Fill out the CSC online application, choose CSC scholarship Type B, and provide your CUFE Agency Number (10034) to submit your application and obtain a PDF copy.
- Step 2: Fill out the CUFE online application and use this gateway to submit your CSC scholarship application.
- Step 3: Pay 600 RMB application fee.
- Step 4: Complete the document review and online interview.
- Step 5: Lastly, wait until June or July 2026 for the official CSC findings.
- Applicants that pass the document check will be called for online interviews. CUFE will choose the top candidates based on their performance and submit their profiles to the China Scholarship Council for final approval. Admission is confirmed following CSC’s expert review. All selected students must register at CUFE in early September 2026, after purchasing health insurance and verifying their documents.
